- Get the email. We check every 30 minutes and email you once when your number is crossed.

Questions, answered
- Are price and rate alerts free?
- Yes. Set as many alerts as you like at no cost. We only email you when a number you picked is crossed.
- Do I need a password?
- No. Build your alerts, then enter your email. We send you a one-time link, and clicking it confirms your address and turns your alerts on. You can also continue with Google.
- How often are alerts checked?
- Every 30 minutes, against the same live feeds that power our price and rate pages. Mortgage rates update weekly when Freddie Mac publishes its survey, and Treasury yields update each business day.
- Will I get spammed if a price bounces around my number?
- No. Each alert fires once when it crosses, then waits until the price moves clearly back before it can fire again, with at least six hours between emails for the same alert.
- Can I set alerts on stocks?
- Yes. Open a stock’s page and use its alert button. Stock alerts show up here with the rest.
- How do I stop an alert?
- Remove it here and save. The unsubscribe link in any alert email stops all alert emails at once.
