About the Digest

Money writing without the homework.

Most personal-finance advice is either a sales pitch or a textbook. Digest Your Finances is neither. We take the week's money news — the rate changes, the new card offers, the policy shifts — and hand you the part that actually touches your wallet, in plain English you can read on a coffee break.

Digest: break something complicated down into a form you can actually absorb.

Who it's for

People in the messy middle of their money life: paying down debt while trying to save, picking up a side hustle, opening a first brokerage account, decoding a credit score. Not finance professionals. Not people with a money manager. You.

How it's built

This whole site is a folder of markdown files. No database, no plugins, no monthly hosting bill. Every article is plain text with a little frontmatter on top; a build step turns it into fast, static pages that live free on Cloudflare Pages. It loads quickly, it can't be hacked through some forgotten plugin, and it'll still work in ten years.

The fine print

Everything here is educational, not personalized financial advice. We explain how things work so you can make your own call — and where a decision is genuinely above our pay grade, we'll say so and point you to someone licensed.
